TANKER DOCKING APPLICATION
Designing an application for docking oil tankers is a complex challenge—any mistake could result in millions of euros in losses. This highly specialized industry requires designers to set aside assumptions and build solutions from the ground up. USER-CENTERED RESEARCH & COLLABORATION
To gather insights, we conducted focus groups with tanker reporting specialists. Their engagement was remarkable—they quickly recognized the value of redesigning a tool that felt truly tailored to their needs.
CO-CREATION & STAKEHOLDER ALIGNMENT
With a clear understanding of user needs, we led a series of co-creation workshops. Balancing operator requirements with business objectives was a challenge, but by involving key stakeholders from both sides, we facilitated discussions that led to well-informed, validated solutions
SMOOTH HANDOVER & IMPLEMENTATION
Prototypes were tested and refined iteratively, ensuring all parties approved the final designs. By keeping the development team engaged throughout the process, implementation proceeded seamlessly, minimizing roadblocks and ensuring an efficient transition from design to deployment.
